Historic Hawes Farm Employment Opportunities:

We are always looking for positive, outgoing, smiling, and happy staff to join our team at Historic Hawes Farm. Our employees are diverse; some are college students, stay-at-home moms, retirees, and professionals from all walks of life. Not only does a seasonal job at Hawes Farm provide a little extra cash, it is also a fun and rewarding experience helping people have a great and memorable time at our farm.  NOTE: applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Customer Service:

• Corn Cops – Our Corn Cops patrol the corn maze and assist guests through our maze challenge.  Corn Cops will assist in enforcing farm rules with guests.

• Court yard Activities – Assist our guests in having a fun and safe time at the farm on the Jumping Pillow, Zip Line, and more.  Monitor and assist guests to create family memories. We encourage parents, grandparents, and kids to participate together as much as possible. Employees will assist our guests in having a fun and safe time at the farm.

• Pony’s – Assist our smaller guests to have a fun and exciting ride they will never forget with their favorite pony.

• Ticket Booth – Employees are responsible for answering questions, offering information about the farm, cash handling and providing directions.

• Field Trip Guide – Work with our Field Trip manager to guide our school guests and their parents through several attractions such as pig races, corn cannons, jumping pillows, animal areas, and more.

Food Services:

• Concessions- Responsibilities may include taking orders, cash handling, fulfilling orders, food preparation, general cleaning, stocking items, keeping inventory.

Maintenance and Janitorial:

• Clean up farm, dump garbage, maintain bathrooms, and keep farm clean and fresh for our guests.

Farm Equipment:

• Tractor Driver- Employees will operate farm tractors, interact and assists guests on and off tractor rides, conduct tractor inspections and ensure the safety of our guests. Tractor drivers must be at least 25 years old or older for insurance requirements.

Haunted Actors:

• Actors- Actors will work in of our many haunt attractions. This is one of the most exciting and fun positions, but can be physically demanding! We ask that our actors have lots of energy and endurance. Actors work as directed to startle and scare our guests, enforce the rules and maintain safety in the haunted cornfield.
